BEING A PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN MEANS . . .

WORKING IN SEVERAL CAPACITIES.  I AM HAPPY TO BE PART OF THE LIVE MUSIC COMMUNITY AND TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY FOR SO MANY OUTSTANDING PROJECTS. HERE ARE SOME LINKS TO THE GROUPS I'M CURRENTLY WORKING WITH:
THE RAILHOUSE BAND!

Joined up with these guys this past January and I am having an absolute blast. GREAT western swing group. Here's their bio:

"For The Railhouse Band, looking forward may be just as exciting as looking back upon the great dance music of yesteryear. The group - made up of Candler Wilkinson IV on guitar and vocals, Elijah Stone on fiddle, Curtis Clogston on pedal steel, Jackie Myers on piano, Nick Lochman on the upright bass, and Dave Sims Jr. on drums - are set to release a live album recorded from their Cheatham Street Warehouse residency as well as perform at this summer’s Kerrville Folk Festival. Definitely ones not to miss, Lone Star Music Magazine offers this advice on The Railhouse Band -  “If it’s the real no-foolin’ deal you’re looking for, rest assured they bring it in spades."

This year I'm stoked to be producing The Lonesome Heroes' new album and playing keys for them on their upcoming tours. Here's their bio:

"Originally formed in 2006 by Brooklyn raised songwriter Rich Russell, The Lonesome Heroes have played over 1000 shows in both the U.S. and abroad. Their last album Daydream Western was nominated by a panel of judges including Tom WaitsKeith Richards, and Suzanne Vega and went on to win the 2012 Independent Music Awards Vox Pop award. ABC featured their single Something Reckless on the TV Series Nashville in 2013.
Following a summer tour of the Mountain States and Pacific Northwest with festival appearances in between at BAMM Fest, Oregon Country Fair and What Fest, the Lonesome Heroes have begun work on a follow up to Can’t Stand Still and plan to release an EP in early 2017."

Strahan and The Good Neighbors  -  I toured with the Good Neighbors for two years and I still play with them occasionally when they're back in Austin. They're good friends of mine and they make great music, look out for their new album this coming summer.
